On January 31, 2025, the Council of Arbitration Managers of Kyiv took the initiative to protect the interests of arbitration managers and organized an open discussion on the system of their remuneration, with the support of the EU project “Pravo-Justice”.
The moderators of the Round Table were Arthur Megerya, Chairman of the Council of Arbitration Managers of Kyiv and Natalia Tyshchenko, Managing Partner of Nobili Law Firm, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Arbitration Managers of Kyiv, member of the Council of Arbitration Managers of the NAACU.
The event was held with the participation of judges of commercial courts and the Supreme Court, business representatives, arbitration managers and lawyers. The participants discussed key issues related to the remuneration of arbitration managers and ways to improve financial mechanisms in bankruptcy procedures.
Among the main topics of the discussion:
- Remuneration of arbitration managers from the sale of collateral property
- Problematic aspects of payment of remuneration in cases without property
- Court fee and its impact on the efficiency of bankruptcy procedures
- Prospects for receiving remuneration with zero liquidation estate The result of the meeting was the formation of proposals for improving the system of distribution of financial resources in bankruptcy procedures. This is another step towards strengthening the institutional capacity of arbitration managers and increasing the efficiency of their work.
