On February 13, Nataliya Tyshchenko, the managing partner of Nobili Law Company, held a presentation of the Scientific and Practical Commentary of the Code of Ukraine on Bankruptcy Procedures for students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations.

The purpose of this meeting was to spread knowledge about bankruptcy among young professionals. Nataliya Tyshchenko set herself the task of informing and educating the new generation about the key aspects of bankruptcy. Her speech is aimed at increasing students’ understanding of this topic and providing practical recommendations that will be useful in their future careers.

Bankruptcy is a common business tool these days. It helps to optimize financial processes, provides time to reboot in difficult situations (moratorium), frees up assets or helps to redistribute them, and most importantly – helps to restore business.

The popularity of bankruptcy procedures can be seen from the number of open cases in the court register. But the number of specialists specializing in this practice is very small. Bankruptcy procedures are not as simple as they seem at first glance and require experience.

That is why the practitioners of the Nobili Law Company and the scientists of the National Law University named after Yaroslav the Wise made a product that will benefit everyone who wants to master the practice of bankruptcy. This commentary is a synergy of scientific thought and practice.

Nataliya Tyshchenko has more than 22 years of experience in the field of bankruptcy and is one of the authors of the Scientific and Practical Commentary. Therefore, the participants of the event had a unique opportunity to receive knowledge and advice in the field of bankruptcy from an expert in this field.

Nataliya Tyshchenko dispelled all myths and revealed secrets about bankruptcy and talked about:

– The history of the creation of the Code of Ukraine on bankruptcy procedures;

– the idea of writing a scientific and practical commentary;

– difficulties that legal entities and individuals may face in the field of bankruptcy;

– answered the questions of active students.

“Our bankruptcy procedures are already adapted to European legislation. To date, only one EU directive on preventive measures to prevent liquidation is unfulfilled. Currently, the draft law is in the Verkhovna Rada and is awaiting consideration.

We want lawyers to understand not only the text of the law, but also its vital essence.

Bankruptcy practice in Ukraine is an opportunity to help enterprises solve difficulties, identify new paths and create more stable economic conditions for development.

Now, when you are studying, learning theory and practical skills, it is important to understand that you are choosing not only a profession, but also a way of life, that you are becoming part of a system that can determine the future of our country,” Nataliya Tyshchenko addressed the students.

As a sign of the university’s gratitude for its dedication to the training of new specialists, the development of education and science, Nataliya Tyshchenko donated a copy of the Scientific and Practical Commentary of the CUBP to the library of the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations.

Nobili Law Company thanks everyone who attended the presentation of the Scientific and Practical Commentary of the Code of Ukraine on Bankruptcy Procedures.
